How to Use QPST Tool
Step 1:
Turn on the phone and press “9” in the main menu to enter the “Settings and Tools.” Press “*” to access the “Phone information” screen and press “#.” Enter “000000” and press “OK.” Access the Port Map option with the “2” key and then proceed to the USB option (MTP, MS) by pressing the “4” key. Press “4” again to set the Samsung Trance as a USB modem and then connect the U490 to the computer via a USB cable.
Step 2:
Transfer files. Start QPST Setup on the computer, click on “Add new port,” and select the port displayed in the box and click on “Ok.” Expand the “Start Customers” menu and select “EFS Explorer.” it is a tool similar to “My Computer” that you will use to make file transfers. Select your phone in the list and click “Ok.” QPST will connect. The phone and open your file directories.
Step 3:
